Small Groups
The Book of Acts:
If you're interested in how the early church grew and spread the gospel of Jesus, this is the study for you. For 6 weeks, we will delve into the lives of early Christians and take a look at some of the amazing stories of sacrifice, courage, and conviction that laid down the foundation we all now stand upon. Two times will be available to those interested. One group will meet on Sunday evenings beginning July 4th and the other group will meet on Thursday mornings at 10:30 starting July 1st.
Pastor Francis Chan of Cornerstone Christian Church in Simi Valley, California wrote this book with the intent of helping the every-day Christian delve deeper into their own personal spirituality. If you're looking for something that will both lift you up and challenge you to dig deeper, then consider this study option. Two groups are meeting to investigate Crazy Love. The college and young adult group(ages 18-32) meet on Monday's at 6 in various homes around the congregation. Another group that is open to everyone meets on Mondays at 6 here at the church.
Centering Prayer:
This group will meet on Sundays at 4 to learn about the discipline of centering prayer. Prayer is an essential outlet for the living soul and if you are looking for ways to improve that aspect of your Christian walk, you are encouraged to sign up for this small group.
